When Trials Come

When trials and hardships become obstacles in your path to God

When you feel the pangs of your limitations

When your strength is compromised

When your willpower to live slowly fades

When your heart condemns you

When you are blinded by your despair

When you are in the moment of frustration

When you do not want to live anymore

Take a deep breath

Then pray to pour out all the angst in your heart to God

Don’t engage to have temptations become actions

Just simply confess to God

You can’t- no matter how you’ve tried

And know that He can and is greater than what is in your heart

And entrust in Him and allow yourself to begin to love God even more

Our God is not necessarily looking into our responses to His Love

But He, rather, wants to reveal His Love to us

That in this world that suffers, we are made whole in Love

After Suffering

Fill your mind with the renewal and the spirit of God.

Ask Him to cleanse and purge out of you any doubts and fears.

He will pour out and annoint you with His Spirit.

And direct you into the path destined for you to take.

He will transform you and bring comfort to your heart.

Because you know how you have suffered… For you have felt the pangs of the cross.

Rest assured you are in His hands now.

And nothing else matters.

Open your eyes again for you have been blinded for all of this time

From the suffering

For God has given you and restored unto you a heart, a mind, and eyes, ears, and a mouth to profess

His glory.

Take comfort in His plan for He knows the desires of your heart and knows the path for which you must take to get there.

For in this, surrender it all.

You have suffered.. now let the love of God pour out all over your bruised body

You are healed.

Excerpt from “Pathway to GOD”  on God’s Infinite Mercy

“So great is His infinite love and pity that He allows man insolently to deny Him, wrangle about Him, and cut the throats of his fellowmen. How can we measure the greatness of God, who is so forgiving, so divine?

He allows us freedom and yet His compassion commands obedience to His Will. But if anyone of us disdains to bow to His Will, He says: “So be it.” “My sun will shine no less for thee, My clouds will rain no less for thee. I need not force thee to accept My Sway.” Of such a God let the ignorant dispute the existence. I am one of the millions of wise men who believe in Him and am never tired of bowing to Him and singing His glory.

God is the hardest task-master, I have known on earth. He tries you through and through. And when you find your faith is failing, or your body is failing you, and you are sinking, He comes to your assistance somehow or other and proves to you that you must not lose your faith and that He is always at your beck and call, but on His terms. So I have found. I cannot recall a single instance when at the eleventh hour, He has forsaken me. “
